Naghsh-e-Jahan Square is the second biggest square in the world and is situated in the central part of the city. This Square is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites and is surrounded by four other magnificent monuments related to the Safavid dynasty. The Royal Mosque is on the south, Sheikh Lutullah Mosque is on the east, Ali Qapu Palace is on the west and Qeisarie Bazar is on the north of the square. In the past the square was the ground for the polo game and the stone gates are still visible in the square. Nowadays the great pool and the fountains which are in the center of the square add to its beauty and attracts travelers to take a rest and enjoy the breeze while taking rests on the wooden benches around the place.iran tour
