Nasirol Molk mosque is also known as the Pink Mosque due to the colorful rays that passes through the windows and make the interior part of the mosque so bright. The windows of the mosque include colored glasses that gives the mosque a unique decoration and make it totally different from other mosque that exist in the country. The architecture and the decoration of the mosque attracts many travelers from all over the world. The tiles that are used inside the mosque are mainly pink and that is why the local people know it as the Pink Mosque.
The structure of the mosque dates back to Qajar Dynasty and it was under the order of the Qajar King Mirza Hassan Ali, famous as Nasirol Molk.
